Meike Ziegler began her career in graphic design and branding, while developing a parallel practice in sculpture, painting, architecture, spaces and installations. In 2009, she founded Creatuals - designing creative rituals, concepts, spaces and objects that create memorable, eye-opening experiences.

Over the years, she has developed dozens of Creatual concepts, workshops and lectures for individuals, organisations, companies and communities, with a passion for shifting perspectives and deepening our understanding of ourselves, each other and the world around us.

Today, Meike focuses on art for human connection - creating participatory artworks and experiences for communities in response to an increasingly polarised world.

Her social art projects include Berlin Wall Table, Handshape Project, Table of Hope, House of One and Nieuw Flevo Peil - works that use art, ritual and participation to connect people across differences.

With a background in art history, graphic design and media production, Meike has worked in Amsterdam, London, Barcelona and New York. Since 2016, she has been based between Berlin and Mühlenbeck, Brandenburg, where she created Dom Wilka as a living space for art, creativity, connection and transformation.
